Event Description

Fair Districts PA has done a fantastic job demonstrating the need for an independent redistricting commission, for well over a year. We are still waiting to see if legislators will return from their early summer break to pass a bill addressing redistricting reform. As we’ve seen, politicians are very good at legislating to protect their own interests. So Draw the Lines is partnering with Fair Districts PA to showcase a new digital competition that will help Pennsylvanians reclaim our democracy, despite the setbacks just recently experienced in Harrisburg.

Join us for a night of bar games and FREE FOOD that bring hilarity and competition to a serious topic. Get a preview of our new mapping software. Try your hand at government trivia. Put PA’s old congressional district map together yourself. Plus many more. We’ll have prizes for competition winners. Get out your tools - we’re going to map a fix to the bug in the operating system of democracy!
