When & Where are hearings?
- Click here for LRC (Legislative Reapportionment Commission) listing of hearings. These are about PA house and senate districts. Hearings are posted just days before they take place so SIGN UP FOR HEARING ALERTS. Click here to submit written testimony. Deadlines for submitting testimony have not been made public.
- Click here for the House State Government committee’s complete schedule of hearings for congressional maps. Check deadlines to register to speak. Written comments for any region can be submitted through regional links listed here until Wednesday, October 13.
- Committee Chair David Argall has made no commitment to hold further hearings. If a hearing is scheduled, it would be listed here. Information on prior hearings can be found here. Written testimony can only be submitted through a partisan website. Click here to submit written testimony to the Senate State Government Committee. Deadlines for submitting written testimony have not been made public.
- Governor Tom Wolf’s administration has set up a portal where the public may submit comments or map drafts on Congressional redistricting. Written testimony and drafts of maps may be submitted, with instructions on how to do either.

Can I watch some hearings to see what giving testimony looks like?
Hearings are available online. Some good examples:

- Know and respect the time limit! (So far, five minutes for LRC, 10 for House Committee)
- Make sure you lean into the mic so you’re heard.
- Stay on topic. Pick a few main points.
- Get personal. Tell your story. How have district lines impacted you or your community?
