We wanted to draw your attention to another editorial of note—this time from the Citizens Voice newspaper.
The headline was just two words: End gerrymandering.

Sen. Lisa Boscola, a Bethlehem Democrat; and Reps. David Parker, a Monroe County Republican, and Mary Jo Daley, a Montgomery County Democrat, have introduced bills to reform redistricting. The proposal, based on California’s fair redistricting system, would take the process out of the hands of lawmakers themselves and assign it to an independent citizens’ commission.
Changing the system is mandatory not only for the creation of fair and honest electoral districts, but to vastly improve governance.”
