Rally on the Capitol Steps: It's Time for a Vote on Redistricting Reform

Event Description

Pennsylvania’s constitution, passed in 1776, was the first to promise “the people” the right to alter and reform their government. Pennsylvanians have been asking for redistricting reform for 40 years yet legislative leaders have refused to give proposed solutions a vote.

Fair Districts PA supporters and allies will gather on the capitol steps to ask that House Bill 31 and Senate Bill 131 be given a vote before the General Assembly recesses for the summer.

We’ll also have two tables in the capitol rotunda, and will be encouraging attendees to visit their own legislators and to attend House or Senate sessions so legislators see we’re paying attention and asking for reform.
