Making Your Vote Count - Redistricting Reform

Event Description

The Saint John’s United Church of Christ in Allentown is hosting a public education program on reforming Pennsylvania’s redistricting process. Fair Districts PA (FDPA) speaker Rich Rafferty will explain PA’s current redistricting process, demonstrate how it has undermined democracy, and then offer a solution to the problem. Rich will also discuss legislation, roadblocks in Harrisburg and FDPA’s strategy going forward. Ideas for how individuals and organizations can advocate locally for change will be shared.

Fair Districts PA is a non-partisan coalition of citizens and organizations seeking to reform PA redistricting rules by ensuring that the process is impartial, transparent, and accountable.
