Dysfunction by Design: Pennsylvania's Broken Legislature

OLLI at Penn State York is hosting an educational program on legislative dysfunction in Harrisburg.

Fair Districts PA speaker Tony Crocamo will facilitate a non-partisan examination of the problems in PA’s state government. The examination will demonstrate that PA’s use of gerrymandering and hyper-partisan legislature rules to prevent collaboration and reward toxic behavior are not accidental. Harrisburg’s dysfunction is by design. This educational program examines the problems of PA’s state government, and offers solutions to restore a state government responsive to its citizens.
