Bradford County Fair Districts PA gets organized

Event Description

Gerrymandering distorts democracy. Let’s end it now, so we are not diminished as citizens for another decade! Gerrymandering cheats voters out of the fair value of their vote. It turns legislators into pawns in a partisan power struggle. Let’s remove the politicians and bring the citizens into a process for drawing maps in an impartial way.

YOU can make a difference over the next few months. Our goal is to obtain passage of legislation in both the PA House and Senate by June 30, 2020. This will happen once legislators become aware that citizens overwhelmingly want a reformed redistricting process.

Have two hours per month? No effort is too small. Participate according to your interests and skills, whether it be legislator visitation, letter writing, small group speaking, tabling at public events, Facebook, or obtaining municipal resolutions in support of an independent commission.
