Get Out the Vote: Kick Off Event

Event Description

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of York is hosting a kick-off event for People Power: Let People Vote (PA), a non-partisan nationwide campaign.  

Fair Districts PA speaker Lex McMillan will be addressing the attendees.  He  will explain PA’s current redistricting process, demonstrate how it undermines democracy, and then offer a solution to the problem.    

Fair Districts PA is a non-partisan coalition of citizens and organizations seeking to reform PA redistricting rules by taking the process out of the hands of party leaders and putting that process into the hands of an impartial, transparent, and accountable citizens’ commission.
